The Lying Game by Sara Shepard
My Rating: 5 stars
Emma never knew she had a long-lost twin sister, until one day a boy in her foster family shows her a strange video online of a girl who looks exactly like her. Her name is Sutton and she has a perfect life – the life Emma always dreamed about….except for one thing: Sutton is dead. But Emma doesn’t know that until she goes to meet Sutton and runs into Sutton’s shallow friends. Emma doesn’t know who killed Sutton; it could be any one of her friends. Emma not only tries to decipher Sutton’s strange life, she literally becomes Sutton. How far will Emma go to uncover the mystery of her twin sister’s death?
I went into this book with high hopes – I adore Sara Shepard and the plotline to this book seemed fabulous. And thankfully, I was satisfied. The Lying Game was just as good as every Pretty Little Liars book. Sara Shepard has such great talent and she really delivered. I can’t wait to read the next one!
