Coraline by Neil Gaiman
My Rating: 4 stars
Coraline is a strange little girl. And what’s even stranger is the new house she lives in. In her drawing room, there is a small little door that leads to a totally reversed universe. There, Coraline meets her other mother and other father who treat her so much better than her own parents do. They actually pay attention to her, make her real food for dinner and make her life fun. But when Coraline discovers that her other mother and the world she created isn’t everything she thought it was, she must find a way out.
Overall, I thought this book was really interesting. I think Neil Gaiman is a genius. I loved the idea of the other parents and the button eyes. I would have never expected the button eyes. Coraline’s other mother makes anyone who reads this appreciate their real parents.
