The Twilight Saga: Eclipse Movie
My Rating: 4 stars
As I’m sure you all know the next movie to the Twilight Saga, “Eclipse”, came out today, June 30th. And I was lucky enough to be able to see it on the first day it came out.
This movie was really good, better than I thought it would be. I didn’t expect it to be that great, truthfully. But it actually was! Eclipse was my favorite book out of the series, and this was definitely the best movie so far!
Also, I think the main actors Kristin Stewart, Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner all work together really well. And there were actually some funny moments that actually had me laughing. Oh, and remember the new “Victoria” in the movie? She actually did a good job. I totally liked the old Victoria better, but this one lived up to expectations. The army of newborns was really good and there was a bunch of fight scenes between the Cullens and werewolves and the newborn vampires.
Eclipse the movie was basically dead-on the books. There were actually some direct quotes from the book in the movie, so I was really happy about that. The only thing I didn’t like was that they didn’t put in this Jacob quote: “The clouds I can handle. But I can’t fight an eclipse.” I think that basically was the point for the title, but I guess they couldn’t fit it in anywhere.
So overall, I really liked this movie and I suggest you go see it!

Bri,
I completely agree with you! Best Twilight movie yet, and best book to movie transition that I’ve seen. They actually didn’t ruin the story this time! I’m excited now to see how they handle all of the “complications” of Breaking Dawn. See you Tuesday!
