Carrie by Stephen King
My Rating: 4 stars
Carrie White’s mother is completely insane. She is super Catholic; almost everything is a sin. From showering to being pregnant, all sinful. When Carrie ‘sins’ or does something wrong, her mother makes her pray. But Carrie doesn’t know the difference; she grew up with her mother that way. Over time, Carrie finally develops telekinetic powers that are believed to have been passed down from her father.
When a prank on Prom Night goes too far, how far will Carrie go? Did one kind act turn the whole situation into a weapon of mass destruction?
I have one thing to say: this book was insane. But I absolutely loved it. It was nothing like I expected it to be, and I have a new love for Stephen King. The only problem I had with this book was that it was a little confusing towards the middle, but that’s all. Overall this is a great book. And I can’t wait to see the movie!

Hm. I read it when I was in 8th grade.
I’m not sure. Its kind of intense; a little scary.
This book can be a little disturbing. But it just depends on how sensitive you are.

I didn’t really like the movie at all. It was a little freaky, but kind of boring.
The book is way better, like always.
