City of Ashes by Cassandra Clare
My Rating: 4 stars
**If you haven’t read previous books, don’t read!**
Clary wishes that her life would go back to normal. But, when Clary, Jace, Luke and everyone else are on another journey to find Valentine again, it’s hard to stray away from the craziness. But this time, Valentine got another one of the Mortal Instruments. The Soul-Sword has gone missing, and Valentine is obviously the only person who could have taken it. And now, different Downworlders (vampires, werewolves, faeries and warlocks) are being brutally murdered. Can Valentine be behind this as well? Will everything turn right in the end? Or will Valentine ruin everything once again?
Okay, so I liked this book a lot. It wasn’t as good as the City of Bones, but it was good. I truthfully can’t wait until I read the next book, the City of Glass. :]

Same here. City of Bones is so good, it just took me a while to get into it.
I really need to read the rest of the trilogy and the spin-off series…

I love this series. This was that one book, like in all series, that took some time to get really into. I still love it though!
