Breaking Dawn by Stephenie Meyer
My Rating: 4 stars
**If you haven’t read previous books, don’t read!**
Breaking Dawn is separated into three separate parts, which I thought was really cool. The first part is from Bella’s Swans point of view. Of course, Bella and Edward are getting married (teen marriage…), and some people aren’t happy about it (Jacob). And after their marriage, they go off on their honeymoon, to an island off the coast of Brazil that just happens to be owned by Edward’s father, Carlisle. After two weeks on the island, Bella realizes she’s pregnant (teen pregnancy…), and she’s not just pregnant with a normal child, she is pregnant with a vampire.
And then, the book switches to Jacob’s point of view. Most of his part of the story shows how he is trying to get over his love for Bella, how he is dealing with his family, his friends beginning to Imprint, dealing with Edward, and finding out that Bella is pregnant. His part of the book lasts throughout Bella’s pregnancy and childbirth.
After Bella gives birth, it switches back to her point of view, and everything changes. Bella’s life is completely different, and the Volturi pay another visit. I thought this book was one of the best of the twilight series. Does anyone know if it is being made into a movie?

Ohh, I see. I heard about Stepehie Meyer talking about Renesmee’s role being too complicated. But I think its pointless to not have a movie…the series won’t be finished! Couldn’t they just make Renesmee with animation instead of a person?

i actually thought this book was semi- good. but its a very bad influence on younger kids; who mostly are reading this series right now. Teenage pregnancy is not something i call “good” it seems to me that stephanie mayer is trying to influence kids to go after the first person they meet, and eventually having a baby with them? ummm i think not.

Thanks, Kate! You made a great point.
I liked this book too, but it is influencing teens and young adults to do things that aren’t really right..

Hi. I thought this book was horrible. Because the whole book they are sooo scared of the Volturi and they are getting ready for a big fight. then guess what happens? There is no fight..just a couple of vampires testing their powers…in a way. I was very upset about this book. In my point of veiw, the only good part was Jacob’s point of veiw!! But, yet, this is just my opinion!!!

I totally agree with Devan, I mean, the whole Major Fight the book was turned out to be a childish I-am-the-big-powerful-vampire demonstration, i mean, i really like Twillight series, but, c’mon…. Anyhow, Jabob’s part was pretty good…

I agree with you and Devan, Helena. The fight at the end of Breaking Dawn turned out to be less than I expected. It wasn’t even really a fight!

I loved this book. and I adored Jacobs point of view <3 sadly, the book wont be a movie because according to Stephanie Meyers,Renesseme's "species" is to complicated to have a role for.
