The Summoning by Kelley Armstrong
My Rating: 4 stars
Chloe Saunders can see dead people. Yes, actual dead people. But, unfortunately she get’s sent away to the Lyle House, and her ability to see ghosts was covered up as Chloe being schizophrenic. But the Lyle House isn’t what it seems. It houses other “crazy” teenagers, and one of them disappeared after admitted she had a poltergeist. Strange, paranormal things keep happening, and Chloe needs to help of her not-so-crazy friends to figure out what’s going on.
I read this book over the summer and I absolutely loved it. I really liked the whole crazy kids’ house idea and how they cover up real powers as psychological disorders. I’m sure anyone who loves paranormal, suspenseful thrillers will love this book!
