Blood Promise by Richelle Mead
My Rating: 5 stars
**If you haven’t read previous books, don’t read!**
As the fourth book in the Vampire Academy Series, I have to say this was quite good. This follows up the unexpected surprise in the ending of the third book, Shadow Kiss. Rose Hathaway’s love, Dimitri, was captured by the Strigoi and turned into one of them. He lost the one thing he valued most. It wasn’t Rose. It wasn’t his life. It was his soul. So, Rose sets out to find him leaving her best friend, Lissa, behind. Rose is sure that this is the right choice, because she has to keep the promise she made Dimitri so long ago. But can she fulfill the promise?
If you thought Shadow Kiss was unexpected, you’ll think book is even more unpredictable! I was so excited and captured when I read this book, and I can’t wait for the fifth book, Spirit Bound, to come out May 18th, 2010!
