Shadow Kiss by Richelle Mead
My Rating: 5 stars
**If you haven’t read previous books, don’t read!**
Rose Hathaway loves her tutor and fellow guardian, Dimitri Belikov, and knows it is absolutely prohibited. She must always have Lissa Dragonmir on the top of her priority list at all times. No one or nothing else allowed. She knows that too. But she believes that some regulations are meant to be broken. Also, ever since her first Strigoi kills, some things haven’t been feeling right. Something dark and ghostly is clouding her mind. And the Strigoi want revenge for those lives Rose has taken. In the end, there is more than friendship at stake. Someone will lose what they value the most. And Rose has to choose between the one she loves and her best friend.
I really loved this book. I think it is the best one out of all of them. The ending is completely not what I expected and a total cliffhanger which leaves you begging for more. the characters are charming yet genuine. This whole series is fantastic.
