Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets by J.K. Rowling
My Rating: 5 stars
**Spoiler Alert! If you haven’t read the Sorcerer’s Stone, don’t read!*
In his second year at Hogwarts, Harry Potter faces more problems. Well, first of all, while he is at his aunt and uncle’s over the summer, he receives a visit from a mysterious house elf. The elf, Dobby, tells Harry that is dangerous to return to Hogwarts. Harry, of course, ignores this warning, and has Ron and his brothers break him out of the Dursley’s house.
And in the end, Dobby the elf is right about Hogwarts not being safe anymore. Something strange is turning the Muggleborn students to stone. No one has any idea who it is, or why it’s happening. Then, Harry and his friends find the puzzling diary of Tom Riddle. In the diary lays the secrets to everything that’s been happening. In the end, Harry learns more about the evil man who is after his life, saves an innocent life, and realizes that he can’t give up.
