Identical by Ellen Hopkins

My Rating: 4 stars

Warning: Rated PG-13

Identical was a pretty good book with a weird and confusing ending. This book is about two twins who live with their abusive father. Their mother is never home, and they never speak to any of their other family members. As Kaeleigh and Raeanne struggle to figure out what went wrong with their family, they cope in different, yet identical ways. The unexpected ending to these twins’ story is mind boggling.

Well I must say that this is not one of my favorite books. The one thing I did like though was the way Ellen Hopkins tied the ending together. I must say that it’s a very hard thing to do since my friend and I are working on a book and we have tried many times for a ending similar to hers but it’s very difficult. So I give her alot of credit for the ending but still not one of my favorites

Hm, I see what you mean.
I actually liked the ending though. It definitely could have ended better, but it was still good.
And of course I give her a bunch of credit just for writing books like these. It must be so difficult!
